Tonka Martini is an exceptional cocktail that revisits Espresso Martini with a rare and bewitching sophistication. The rum-infused tonka bean brings deep notes of vanilla, almond and dried hay that blend beautifully with the intensity of espresso coffee. Preparation
Pour the tonka bean infused rum, espresso coffee, Baileys and vanilla syrup into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to refresh and emulsify.
Filter in a cool martini type cocktail glass.
Decorate with a few coffee beans, grated tonka bean chips or a little cocoa powder.
Prepare your coffee in advance so it's cold when it's time to shake. To infuse the rum, leave a grated tonka bean in the bottle for 24 to 48 hours. An ideal cocktail for an end of meal.
