Floralis is a delicate springtime cocktail that captures the essence of flowering gardens in a sparkling glass. Prosecco brings the necessary festive effervescence, while rose syrup envelops the whole of a romantic and subtle floral veil. Fresh citrus balances the sweet sweetness with their natural acidity, creating a light and refreshing drink. A perfect cocktail for Sunday brunches, spring aperitifs or any occasion that deserves a touch of delicacy and poetry.
Preparation
Pour the citrus juice, rose syrup and Prosecco into a large glass filled with ice.
Mix gently with a spoon so as not to lose the bubbles.
Add a dash of sparkling water to lengthen the cocktail.
Mix again very gently.
Decorate with a slice of citrus, a few edible rose petals or a mint leaf.
Use a chilled Prosecco to keep things buzzing. Prefer freshly squeezed citrus juice for a more intense flavor. This cocktail is perfect for an elegant brunch or a spring aperitif.
