Punch is one of the oldest cocktails in the world, named after the Sanskrit pancha meaning five - the five basic ingredients. Festive par excellence, it is prepared in large quantities and shared during parties and aperos with friends. This cheerful blend of rum, fruit juice and pomegranate is always a guaranteed success.
Preparation
Pour the rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice and grenadine into a shaker.
Add ice and shake energetically for 10-15 seconds.
Pour into a tall glass or punch cup filled with ice cream.
Mix lightly if needed.
Decorate with a slice of orange, mint leaf or cherry.
You can adjust the quantities according to the format: individual or large jar. For a successful homemade punch, favor fresh or quality fruit juices.
